About IDMS Help

IDMS Help is a web-based help system that runs in your default browser on your desktop or mobile device. The Help contains topics on common tasks you might perform with IDMS.

Some topics—like this one—have one or more subtopics that display as links with expand buttons. Click the expand button to open a subtopic by expanding its drop-down text. When a subtopic is open, you can click the collapse button to close it.

Subtopics do not expand if your browser is blocking the DHTML effects by restricting the webpage from running scripts. Click Allow blocked content to expand and collapse subtopics.

Note: If you close the dialog box without clicking Allow blocked content, you can use the F5 key to refresh the page.

ClosedAbout Responsive web help

The responsive Admin Tools Help runs in a responsive web format, which adjusts to the size of the device or browser window in which it is running. Both the Desktop and Tablet views provide the following options:

Search – Search topics for the terms in the search field.
Expand All / Collapse all – Expand or collapse all drop-down text in a topic.
Remove Highlights – When you perform a search, the search text is highlighted in each topic in the search results. Click the Remove Highlights button to turn the highlights off.
Print – Print the current topic.

  • In the Desktop view, menus display in the header.

  • In the Tablet view, click to access the Table of Contents.

Searching for a topic such as "post payment" makes sense because it is not mentioned in every help topic.

Include quotation marks around the search terms to search for a specific phrase. Otherwise, they are not necessary.

Note: You can use multiple phrases in the same search, such as a search for "post payment" electronic.

  1. Type the search terms in the Search field, and press Enter. Letter case is not important.

    The matching search results display.

  2. Click the topic that best fits your search.
  3. To review another of the search results, click your browser's back button and choose another topic.
