Refunding a Deposit
A customer can put a deposit down on a vehicle to hold the vehicle. A credit is applied to the customer record. You can refund the money collected if the person does not use the credit at the dealership.
- From the Customer page, click the More icon
and choose Refund Customer Deposit.
The Reverse a Deposit pop-up window opens.
- Click the Select option for the deposit you are refunding.
- Type a Comment, and click Refund.
- You return to the Customer page and the Customer Credit field no longer appears.
