About Reports

The IDMS Reports module is a powerful tool that gives the user a detailed look at any data captured in the system. It consists of two main features. First, the data engine allows easy access to every data point in the system. It gathers the data and stores the results of the report generation in the ECabinet. This enables the exacted data set to be accessed at anytime in the future to be reviewed historically. In addition to the data and storage engine, IDMS has two editors available: a standard editor for simple report layouts and an advanced editor to give the user more advanced features such as Cross Tab reports, calculated fields, Dashboard compatible views, and a drag and drop interface. In addition, these reports can be scheduled to run at any time and at various increments and emailed to different people.

Do one of the following:

• From the Home page, click the Reports icon .

OR

• From the left navigation pane, click the Reports icon and choose the type of report list to open, such as Standard Reports or Custom Reports. The list may vary.

The Reports List page opens.
