Customizing My Console
This video provides an overview of the console in IDMS.
Configure your Console to fit your own needs and preferences. Add icons for the tasks and modules you use often for easiest access. If you have Quickbooks, an icon displays for that as well.
- From the left navigation pane, click the Home icon
.
The Console page opens.
- Click the Settings icon
at the top of the page.
The Console page enables customization.
Options include:
- Click the Delete icon
to take an icon off your Console that you do not need. - Click the Edit icon
to rename an icon on your Console.
The Modify Favorite pop-up window opens.
Type a new icon title in the Title field, and click OK.
You return to the Console. Your icon name is changed.
- Click the Add Favorite icon
to add an icon to your Console that you use often.
The Add Favorite pop-up window opens.
Select the topic with the icon you want to add.
Type an icon name in the Title field, and click OK.
You return to the Console. Your icon is added.
- Click the Reset icon
to delete the customized icons and default back to only the ones originally included.
A confirmation pop-up window displays.
Click Yes.
- Click the Cancel icon
to discard changes. - Click the Save icon
to save changes.
