Move an Account to Bankruptcy

You can move an account to bankruptcy in IDMS.

  1. From the bottom navigation bar on the Account page, click Action and click Bankruptcy.

The Bankruptcy section appears.

There are individual selections for the Borrower and Co-Borrower when there is a Co-Borrower on the account.
  1. Check the Move to Bankruptcy box.
  2. Choose the Consumer Information Indicator from the drop-down.
  3. Choose the Petition Date.
  4. Type Notes about the bankruptcy.
  5. Click Save.

The status of the account changes to Bankruptcy.
